The celebrations at night were my favorite (well, except for the rampant fireworks :-).  It was really nice seeing the children carrying around their illuminated lanterns.  You could see their colorful light gently illuminating their faces as they paraded around town.  It might be a little hard to see but at the left is a very young child being helped with this tradition by their mother.  For some reason, that was nice to see.  Unfortunately, my camera wasn't high enough quality to capture the glowing lanterns in the dark.
