As I mentioned before, NZ has thirty-something
million sheep. We sure saw a whole mess of them. It seems that no
matter where you go, nearby is a sheep (or more likely a bunch of
them). The Catlins were no exception. As Valerie drove through, the
sheep scattered just as the farmer said they would, though they
wouldn't usually move until the last moment. I had to take this picture
as no NZ travelogue would be complete without a sheep picture.
